TLP (Tomorrowland, Laundry Day) Dj TLP a.k.a. Troubleman is Belgium’s most notorious urban dj. He hails from the city of Ghent which also brought the world the legendary dj teams The Glimmers and 2 Many DJ’s. TLP mainly deals with urban music. He prefers not to be labeled an r’n’b dj though as his sets consist of a healthy mashup of reggae, hip hop, electro, latin and afro inspired house, booty bass, old school disco and funk classics, broken beat and old and new r’n’b classics. He is also known to play long sets (of more than 5 or 6 hours) in which he perfectly blends al these genres into one healthy mix of party vibes. ? LASTON & GEO (Dour, I Love Techno, Laundry Day) Laston & Geo, two friends from Antwerp who've been spinning records for years, lost their souls to music. Even though they are devoted to house and electro beats, they like to go overboard with genres as diverse as breakbeat, drum&bass, disco and even a sniff of rock now and again... but... only if it's funky baby! ? DJ MARCIN (Oud Oep Nief, Club la Pipe) Wat vaststaat is dat DJ Marcin steeds Keizerlijke Keuzes maakt als het gaat over het kiezen van de juiste plaat, op de juiste plaats. TITO & ECHO VIRUS (Laundry Day, Stealth Bombers, Tomorrowland) Echo Virus, one of Belgium´s leading drum & bass dj´s, real interest in music started around 1993 with radio Laser, a legendary Antwerp-based illegal station that played everything electronic with a beat and featured artists like CJ Bolland before their major success. Depending on the mood, the Echo Virus style ranges from up-tempo jump-up and techy stuff to wobbly and raw floorsmashers! You can also find him mixing back to back with Tito or Scypus on regular occasions.Any of these combinations guarantee dancefloor explosions!! Tito started listening to drum n bass in the year 1999, after his friends convinced him to join a drum n bass party somewhere in Antwerp. That was the day the dnb-virus bit him. Fast and heavy drumlines with a furious bass! At the end of 2004 Tito teamed up with Echo Virus to organise an event together. This was a big succes so they decided to organise events on a regular basis, Stealth Bombers was born!! Since 2005 Stealth Bombers is the most succesfull and longest running independant dnb event in Antwerp, which grows bigger with every edition! ? ATHYS & DUSTER (Stealth Bombers, Overdose) Coming on to the scene in 2011 and rockin' it from the start... Athys & Duster got on with it instantly collecting gigs at several big Belgian clubs and festivals. They got picked up by AMC for his new label Titan Records and their first release on there got playlisted by Drum & Bass Arena, BBC 1Xtra and several other radiostations. Sitting in the bag of people like Andy C, Brookes Brothers, Original Sin and Crissy Criss these guys may be the next big thing coming out of Belgium and hitting drum & bass. ? AIR CAV (Qontinent) These guys have single handedly introduced the harder dubsteps in Antwerp City and beyond with their prime brand Tensionstep. Obviously they needed residents for their gigs and who else is cheaper and more realiable than theirselves?! Keep an eye out for upcoming gigs and more, this crew has only just begun! ? At 14 years old Vectrex started to get interested in making music. By influence of his friends, he wanted to learn how to play the guitar. After a few years of obsessive guitar playing, he started to play in some bands. Later Vectrex realised rock and blues weren’t the only music genres on the planet, and that dnb was his thing.
